He stated, “More than just a colleague, you are a brother and an artist who has dedicated decades to this beautiful cinematic journey. The Dadasaheb Phalke Award is not merely for an actor but for a true artist who has lived and breathed cinema. I am so happy and proud of you, Lal. You truly deserve this honor.”

However, based on what I know of @Mohanlal, I believe the Dadasaheb Phalke Award should be renamed the Mohanlal Award.”
With over 350 films to his credit across various languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada, Mohanlal will receive this award at the 71st National Film Awards ceremony scheduled for September 23.
